Ras Kass – A.D.I.D.A.S: Review

Every now and then, along comes a project that restores your faith in hip-hop and Ras Kass’ All Day I Dream About Spittin’ (A.D.I.D.A.S.) is one such project. That is not to say that it’s perfect, but it’s an admirable effort put forth by a great MC with proper motivations. A.D.I.D.A.S. cannot be found through what are now considered the norms of music purchases. Ras took a visionary approach by cutting the distributor out of the mix. If you so choose to purchase A.D.I.D.A.S., your $8.99 goes directly to Ras which is worth noting because, this unlike so many albums, is one that has the artist’s stamp throughout because he has only himself to thank for the success and/or blame for the failure. New Galactica Series?

It looks like the Battlestar Galactics series is on the road to the land of Stargate. SyFy (that name change is still sooo stupid) is preparing to milk Galactica dry with another series. “Blood and Chrome” is going to focus on the Cylon war. This will be a web series dished out in 10, ten minute episodes. co-executive producer Michael Taylor describes ”Blood & Chrome” as being “about a young man’s initiation into war: both the realities of war as fought by soldiers on the ground (and in Battlestars and Vipers), and the somewhat less real version portrayed in the media.” Continue Reading

Human Target: Cast Anouncement

One of my favorite new shows of last season, “Human Target” is setting up for its second season. FOX has recently announced two new cast members for the upcoming season: Indira Varma and Janet Montgomery. “HUMAN TARGET is an action-adventure series based on the DC Comics comic book and graphic novel, centering on Christopher Chance, a unique private security expert who is hired when a threat can’t be eliminated through “normal” means of protection. HUMAN TARGET is a production of Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Television. McG, Matthew Miller, Jonathan E. I’m not sure why K-mart is doing this but if you buy StarCraft II from them it will net you a $20 gift card to the store. After thinking about it I guess its a good idea since K-mart probably isn’t on most peoples list of retailers for video game purchases.
