Ok, Kimbo lost…but the fight sucked! Big country didn’t want to fight…he wanted to do what he had to do to win and that’s it. Big country basically won by getting a superior position, good shit right…wrong! He put himself in an advantageous position and basically massaged the top of Kimbos head until the ref was forced to stop the fight because Kimbo wasn’t “defending” himself. All they needed was some baby oil and scented candles to turn that scene into something completely different. He got a stoppage but did absolutely no damage to Kimbo…even the ref seemed like he didn’t want to stop the fight but had to because big country basically used a rule to his advantage.
Capone from ainitcoolnews.com just dropped a little nugget I wasn’t aware of. Chris Rock will be dropping a new movie/documentary named “Good Hair” apparently it’s a pseudo commentary on the insane world of black women’s hair care/styles. I know we’ve all seen those insane YouTube videos and google images of all the fine upstanding women with their hair molded in the shapes of honey combs and helicopters…to put it all on film…genius!
Ok, this is the third week of The Ultimate Fighter reality show. There was a bunch of hype surrounding this season of heavy weights who range from former IFL champions to former NFLers. The biggest hype surrounding the show had to be squarely centered around Kimbo Slice…for good reason, I’ve seen this cat literally knock the eyeball out of someones face on one of his notorious YouTube videos.

Now from the gate, I AM A HIP-HOP HEAD, period and have been for over 25 yrs. I was a DJ for 3yrs, a wall writer & to a lesser extent, a break dancer. I am from Philly but made weekly trips to NYC, mostly Brooklyn & the Boogie Down Bronx. I remember when hip-hop began, the mainstream media would diss it on the regular, it’s a fad, it’s not “real” music, it’s just an urban thing, it won’t last, etc…Well look where we are now,hip-hop is the dominant form of music on the charts, even with the slow death of cd’s due to PTP’s, it still sells.
It was revealed earlier today that Capcom plans to release an update/upgrade to the newest entry in their seminol fighting game franchise…
Warner Bros. has set Guy Ritchie to direct the Lobo film based off of the D.C. comic. The script, written by Don Payne and Joel Silver will be produced by Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona will produce. The trade describes Lobo as a 7ft., blue/gray skinned, indestructible, heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a pimped out motorcycle. He lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures…
